In this class, we'll explore slip stitches by using the Roller Coaster Cowl pattern by Barbara Benson. You will need to be an intermediate knitter who is proficient with circular needles.
This cowl uses slip stitches and short rows to create an unusual texture. The pattern was originally created for use with highly variegated yarns, so this gives you an opportunity to use a wild colorway should you choose. It will also look amazing in a single color.
You will need 40" size 5 circular needles, stitch marker, 400 yards sock yarn and the Roller Coaster Cowl pattern by Barbara Benson. Please purchase your supplies from Needle Nook.
The cowl needs a stretchy cast on, and Barbara uses the cable cast on. If you need help with it, please come in before the class day. That way you can cast on before class starts.
